At 3,200 feet in the Mojave, Yucca Valley asks something of a roof that the valley floor never does. Summer afternoons push past 100 degrees; winter nights drop near freezing and bring near-annual snow. The daily and seasonal swing between those extremes is enormous, and it works on a roof relentlessly. Add a High Fire Hazard Severity Zone designation and the High Desert's raw UV, and this becomes one of the toughest roofing environments in Southern California. Dove Roofing and Construction builds for it specifically.
Our roofing services in yucca valley cover repairs, fire-rated replacements, new installs, skylights, and maintenance for homes across the High Desert. Licensed, insured, and quoted in writing before any work starts.

At elevation, a small leak can turn serious overnight. Your message goes straight to David's phone, and we get back to you as soon as we're available — often the same day. No callbacks that never come.

No all-day waiting around. We give you a tight two-hour arrival window and show up inside it, so your day isn't held hostage to a vague "sometime between 8 and 5."

We're open Monday through Saturday, 7am to 7pm, and closed Sundays. Call (760) 702-7633 and we'll respond as soon as we can.

One local homeowner watched a ceiling stain get worse over several days of rain and was, in their words, really panicking. They got estimates from several roofers — most said they'd have to wait days or longer. David's estimate was among the most competitive, and he was able to start and finish the work that same day, then quote a future full replacement at a competitive price too. Punctual, communicative, and professional crew: that same-day, straight-dealing response is what we bring to every High Desert call.
Down in the low desert, heat is the main enemy. At Yucca Valley's elevation, the enemy is the swing. A roof that hits 100-plus degrees in the afternoon and drops toward freezing overnight expands and contracts every single day, and that constant movement is what backs out fasteners, splits sealants, and works flashing loose long before UV alone would.
Then two more factors stack on top. This is a designated High Fire Hazard Severity Zone, so Class A fire-rated roofing isn't a preference here — it's how you meet California code and protect the home. And the near-annual snowfall adds a load and a melt-freeze cycle that low-desert roofs never deal with. A roof specced for Palm Springs is not specced for Yucca Valley, and treating them the same is how roofs up here fail early. We install and repair with the thermal cycling, the fire code, and the snow all in mind.

Our roof repair yucca valley work finds the failures thermal cycling causes — backed-out fasteners, split seams, loosened flashing — and repairs them so the fix holds through the next hot-cold swing rather than reopening.

When a roof reaches the end of its lifespan, we provide complete roof replacement from tear-off to cleanup. We install clay tile, concrete tile, metal, and spray foam roofing systems built to withstand Yucca Valley's intense desert heat and UV exposure. For older homes, we also repair or replace damaged roof decking before installing the new roof.

For new builds and additions, we install complete fire-rated systems detailed for elevation, snow load, and extreme temperature swings.

Our skylight repair yucca valley work rebuilds the curb and flashing where High Desert skylights fail — the seams that thermal cycling pries open — and restores the unit to watertight.

Regular inspection catches thermal-cycling damage before a storm exploits it. We check fasteners, seals, and flashings and clear drainage ahead of winter.

For flat and low-slope roofs, we install and recoat reflective foam and membrane built for the elevation and UV.

I'm so happy with David & his crew at Dove Roofing. I just moved into a new place & started noticing the seller must have painted over leak discoloration. The discoloration was getting worse after a few days of rain so I was really panicking. I got estimates from several roofers. Dave's was among the most competitive, & he was able to start the work & finish the work that very same day. All the other roofers told me I'd have to wait several days or longer. Dove Roofing also gave me a quote on a full roof replacement for the next year or two, which was very competitive. He was punctual, communicated well, & attentive. His crew was professional as well. If you are looking for the best Redlands roofer, I highly recommend Dave Berumen & Dove Roofing. Professional & affordable Redlands roofing company--thanks Dove Roofing!
I had an amazing experience with David, the owner of Dove Roofing. My family has a home in Joshua Tree that needed emergency service during a historic wind/hail/snow storm. I was not in town and scrambled to find someone to show up promptly. I found Dove Roofing on a Google search and lucked out big time! Not only did David immediately answer my call when his phone rang but he was able to go out to my home within 30 minutes. He was patient with me on our call and understood the emergency nature of the situation since a portion of our roof blew off and was exposing some pieces of wood. David went to the location and braved the hail, extreme cold, and wind to go up on the roof and do some temporary repairs to prevent further damage from a second storm expected the next day. He was a lifesaver! David was in constant communication with me and was so easy to do business with. He was knowledgeable, honest, and very professional. I will definitely be using his company to do the necessary permanent repairs to my roof. If I could give him 10 gold stars, I would.
I am extremely pleased with the service provided by Dove Roofing. Gus, their estimator, came the same day I requested a quote and provided me with a price that seemed very reasonable for re-shingling my Park Model in Desert Hot Springs. We settled on a date that would work for them and me and just as promised the work was completed on time, no muss, no fuss. They cleaned up their mess and were out of here in less than 2 days. I would highly recommend Dove Roofing!
I was impressed by how fast, clean, and thorough their work was. Every day, they came in on time. They cleaned after themselves when they were done for the day. I have nothing to say but good things about this company. Best value and excellent service. I would definitely recommend and use them for any roofing needs that can come up in the future. Thank you Adrian and crew for the new roof over our home :)
I am selling my home and needed some minor roof repair work that a home inspector identified. I went on line and found Dove Roofing. I contacted the owner Dave and he responded promptly. Dave drove out to my home the next business day and gave a free estimate on the job details. He was thorough in explaining what work needed to be done to fix the roofing issues. Although this was a small job, Dave and Dove Roofing were available to fix the problem the same day. Very professional, down to earth, and demonstrated good work ethics. I would recommend this company.
David and his crew came out and saved the day!We had severe roof damage which in turn made it a nightmare during this last storm that came through 29 Palms! We had his company install a state of the art foam roof ! It looks like snow in the desert ! But highly effective in terms of the sun reflecting, and making it cooler in the building. It will be fabulous this summer when it’s 110° Honest, Reliable,. Highly recommend .

Yes — Yucca Valley is a designated High Fire Hazard Severity Zone, so Class A fire-rated roofing is required to meet California code on most properties. We install systems that comply and explain exactly what applies to your home.
Elevation. The daily swing from hot afternoons to near-freezing nights up here causes far more expansion and contraction than the low desert, which works fasteners and seals loose faster. Roofs at this elevation need to be built and maintained for that movement.
We prioritize urgent leaks and, where we can, handle them the same day — as one Yucca Valley homeowner found when several other roofers wanted them to wait days. Call and we'll tell you honestly how fast we can be there.
Near-annual snowfall adds load and a melt-freeze cycle that low-desert roofs never see, stressing flashings and drainage. We account for it in both installation and pre-winter maintenance.
Call Dove Roofing and Construction for a free, no-obligation inspection and written estimate. We serve Yucca Valley and the High Desert and build every roof for the elevation, the fire code, and the swing.
